# Overview

The tutorials are meant to give an introduction to the key concepts behind Yambo 
as well as to practical topics such as convergence.
You are also invited to first read and study the background material in order to get familiar with the fundamental physical quantities.

To properly follow the tutorials you must have a working environment where both 
Yambo and Yambopy (and possibly QE or abinit) are installed.
